What you need to know before requesting a transfer Although a domain transfer from one provider to the other can be really easy, not having the right information can make it that much harder. If you purchased on your own the domain name, then the information needed for transfer will be very easy, if not, you will need to contact your administrator and advise them that you need your domain name unlocked and the code required for transfer. We cannot do this for you for obvious legal reasons. What we can do is make our server ready for when the transfer is complete.
